Alfalux was born from the merger of the historic brands Alfa and Lux within the ceramic company Nuova Riwal. Nuova Riwal is based in the ceramic district of Sassuolo and, with the brands Alfalux and Saime, represents one of the most important groups in the industry for the production and commercialization of ceramic tiles for flooring and wall coverings, including full-body colored porcelain stoneware and glazed porcelain stoneware. Since 2007, Nuova Riwal has been part of one of the most renowned industry-leading groups in ceramic production: Casalgrande Padana S.p.A., headquartered in Casalgrande, Reggio Emilia.
